The Manifesto
Everyone Lawyer — Our Manifesto
We believe two structural problems undermine trust in the justice system:
- The monopoly on law. Justice is priced out of reach for ordinary people.
- The black box of the courtroom. Proceedings that shape lives happen behind closed doors.
Proposal 1 — Break the legal monopoly (Everyone can be a lawyer)
Empower ordinary people with the knowledge and tools to understand and navigate the system.
Proposal 2 — Open the courtroom
Advocate for recording and public access to court proceedings, so that justice is done in the open.
